This is one solid piece of metal, with no rivets, screws, or weld marks to collect food and debris. There is a black rubber insert under the handle to make it easier to grip. The hook on the end is the perfect length to flip down and hold the grip off the surface it is resting on.

The only downside is that barbecue forks are really not very useful, despite being included in almost every tool collection. Stabbing the meat while it is on the hot grill is a surefire way of releasing all of the moisture from the food.

I do have one of these, but I mainly use it to move my foil smoking packets off the charcoal. It works well for that.

Weber Style 32908 Professional-Grade Barbecue Beeper Digital Thermometer

Take the guesswork out of grilling with this remote digital thermometer by weber. The convenient design allows you to monitor the grill while relaxing or preparing the rest of your meal. Simply place the meat probe into the food, select your setting and clip the remote to your waistband. The thermometer will beep when your food is ready. Imported.

Same problem as everyone else - temp probe fails with "199" degrees as soon as you turn them both on. Before it died, it worked great, but I'd recommend you get a quality instant read thermometer instead... this just isn't reliable enough to count on for the long run.


I was very disappointed by this product. The reviews I had read mentioned that it has presets -- but so do my car radio and my oven, and I can change the presets around how I like them, or set other options on my own. The reviews did NOT mention the most crucial thing to know:

This thermometer ONLY allows you to use the presets. There are no other options. If you don't like the presets, you're out of luck.

It also plays food nanny -- there's no setting but "well done" for hamburger, for example, and although the setting for rare beef is _correct_, you actually need to take a steak off the grill about 5-10F cooler than that because of carryover heat.

This was a gift for my husband, and both of us are disappointed. It won't get any use at all, and because of the type of packaging, we can't even pack it back up to return it. Big thumbs down, and an annoying waste of money.


Do not purchase this product! I bought two of these units. The first one the wire was damaged by the poor insulation of the wire, which Amazon gracefully replaced for free. The second unit failed again, at that point I was done with this unit ... didn't feel like badgering Amazon, so I'll keep looking for a better wireless unit.

I thought it was user error, but reading the other user reviews I think it's design error.


Unfortunately I have to join the crowd who managed to use it only once. Worked nice once and then died, no replacement sensor available. Looks like Weber have stretched their brand a bit too much so it covers also plenty of random junk. Beware also of Disposable Matchless Flame Lighter, it's premium priced cheap plastic imitation of real thing. Real pity, then marketing takes over the company and you can not trust trademark anymore.


I've never posted before, but thought I should add my .02. My unit worked once --- and never again. Tried the new battery thing as well, to no avail. Grrrr. Very annoying to read that SO many others had similar problems --- and yet the product is still being sold.




I used this for about 10 minutes, then it kept reading 199F. The thermostat stopped working, even though the probe was at room temp. Even a few days later it worked the same, kept reading 199F. Called customer service and they said to use the reset buttons by the battery in compartment. It didn't work. Then they were no help. Bottom line, reading the rest of the reviews, this product is not fit for consumer distribution.


The probe damaged easily in small grease fire in grill. Now I am out looking for a new probe. Worked great in an oven, where there is no chance of a fire.


Great product works as expected and as advertised
Would be nice to be able to set any temperature for the alarm to go off, but has enough selection of temps in other meat selections to cover 95% of what someone needs.

Pros: Works great and is durable, easy to operate and has a loud alarm.

Cons: I would to for it to have a variable temperature alarm setting instead of all factory preset levels.

I would also like for it to have the option to plug the probe into the receiver for a non wireless option when using it to cook indoors.

I purchased this with some other Weber grill tools this past summer and truly regret it. It is way too big and it just doesn't add anything that a regular spatula can't handle. I grill 3-4 times per week and I never seriously used this once over the 4-5 months I owned it.

2 Stars because it is made with good quality materials and Weber does know style when it comes to grill tools...no more though because this is simply a poorly designed product that I do not recommend buying.


This spatula is too large to be practical - either for regular use or storing. A good quality spatula of any type works fine for fish - no need for this monster version. I returned it.

This is my second Weber remote grill thermometer. They do exactly what they say: remote temperature reading with an alarm when the meat is done to the ideal temperature (settable by type of meat and your preference of rare, medium, or well.) My previous one lasted just over a year before it just stopped working. I liked it so much I'm willing to give it another try... I'm just hoping that this one lasts a few years longer.


Wish I had my money back. Unit did not give accurate readings. I used it three times and now it sits in the box it came in. I read many reviews before buying and this model seemed to be the best of the rest. Unfortunately, all manufacturers must have questionable applications.


Perfect pork, fabulous fish, moist chicken and more! On the grill or in the oven this thermometer helped me turn out three "home run" meals the first week I had it! Before buying this thermometer I pretty much limited my grilling to steaks because I could easily judge "done-ness". Now I no longer fear dried out chicken or leathery pork.

I returned a similar model of a different brand (Polder) because the probe failed after one use. This unit seems well made and has held up to a season of grilling and now that my cooking has moved back inside I'm using it in the oven as well.

"Surprise" feature I really like - it beeps 5 degrees BEFORE the desired temp, just enough warning to either "get back to the grill" or to take the food off the grill and let carry over heat finish cooking.

Minor gripe - you can't set the alarm for an arbitrary temperature. Even so, the presets cover all the temps you'd need for barbecue.

It's not perfect, but I'd buy this model again.


This is my third remote read thermometer, I got this one as it has the highest rated probe, I think it is supposed to be good up to 560F. I also have a Redi temp which I really like as it has a digital display on the local base unit, but the probe is only rated to 400F, so I had burned up several probes, I was able to call Redi temp and they sent me a new probe for $12, so after several probes it did not seem cost effective. I have used this Weber probe several times and it has worked well, my only complaint is the probe plug is loose in the base unit, so you have to stratigically place to base unit to ensure that the reading is not 0F on the remote.


What a piece of junk! I ordered this to go with my new grill, being a rainy summer, I put it on my refrigerator until I got a good to try it out.
I threw away the billing because it was a Weber, top of the line equipment, right? WRONG! I opened the box, inserted the batteries, pushed the reset as instructed, and the unit inficated no signal to receiver.
Dead on arrival! Strike # 2 on Amazon.com.
I did what I should have done, ordered a similar unit from QVC who test all the products that they carry!
