Yes indeed folks . . . if you think you know something about cooking BBQ and you haven't tried this sauce, you'll truly expand your culinary education by trying it. I hear tell that folks in Kansas City think they know something about BBQ and perhaps they do . . . but they know about BEEF BBQ! Corky's is for those of us who like Memphis-style BBQ, which is PORK (and chicken too)!

We all know that there are umpteen different variations of BBQ sauce. Some have a hickory smoke flavor, and some lean towards a mesquite flavor, and still others feature a sweeter flavor. The list goes on and on. Corky's sauce is a little bit of all rolled into one package. Corky's is great, of course, on pork ribs because this is what made the Corky's restaurants so famous. Pulled pork BBQ sandwiches are also livened up with this sauce. Not only does it go great on BBQ chicken recipes, but you ought to try it on Buffalo-style wings as well.

Corky's started out at one single location in the heart of Memphis and later expanded to the outlying suburban areas. Now, there are locations throughout Tennessee (Nashville area, Knoxville area, and Pigeon Forge), and there are a few locations in Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Mississippi, and Louisiana. If you live in any of these areas (or plan to visit) you'd do yourself a favor by stopping in and checking them out.

The only gripe I have is the price. Over $4.50 for a single bottle of this sauce? Check your local supermarket first and see if it can't be had for a dollar or two less. If not, splurge this once and see if your BBQ recipes don't truly come to life with this stuff.

I bought this about a year ago and it works decently well. With my smoker being on the deck outside all year round, it is exposed to sun, rain, snow and whatever else comes down from above. While the water protection is pretty good, the nice dark black fades within the first summer. Now it is light grey wherever the sun gets to and blackish where the sunlight does not get to... Not really what I expected for the money paid.


I have the Masterbuilt Smoker - Masterbuilt 20070106 30-Inch Electric Smokehouse Smoker, Black and needed a cover for it. I was surprised Masterbuilt doesn't offer one so I bought this one to see if it would work after reading some reviews that it was the right size. This cover fits perfectly on the Masterbuilt Smoker. Not much more to say, it's got drawstrings, made well and does it's job!

These pans are perfect for whatever use you may have in mind. The price is quite affordable....I looked at the local dollar store and found lesser quality for a higher price....and the size wasn't right either!!


They catch drippings very well!

Oh -- and serving food with the weber stamp is simply cool for some unknown but rewarding reason. Boy it really IS the small things in life huh?

Quality of the pans is very good.

NOTE: Sams club also has large drip pans cheap - you can then save these for "special company" times if you want!


Had to use several of these pans to hold food for a barbecue. The word "large" in the title is very misleading.

My aunt got these for my grillmaster boyfriend for his birthday, and he loves them. He got rid of his old tools and uses these almost exclusively. The flipper and tongs get a lot of use, but we don't do enough to need the fork yet.

They are HUGE tools, which is both a burden (heavy and bulky) and a blessing (less likely to get burned and you don't need to be standing over the grill). There's a nice bag that you can store your tools in as well. They are high quality: stainless steel with rubber handles. Easy to clean as well. Handwashing and dishwashing both work out so far.

I think they're quite a bit overpriced since you could get more tools for a lot less money, but the quality is fantastic. They make a great gift, and I know they would be appreciated by your favorite chef too.

very well made, works great. if you think you will ever need to lift the cooking grate while smoking or grilling, you need this tool


I am on my second one (which just broke) in two years. Apparently SR changed designs, as my #2 is very different from the first one I bought (which was graciously replaced for free, when I contacted the manufacturer.)

I grill every day, and use heavy cast-iron grates, so if one of these lasts me a year, I guess I should be satisfied for the price. I am ordering a new one.


i actually read about this in Steven's book. I think every Grill myster must have this tool. Its simple yet so many people don't think about it. On several occasions i had to reload hot coals but couldn't lift the gritts. This tool is a must!

Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue SR8051 Wine Barrel Stave Chunks

Wine and barbecue come together in this unique grilling fuel from steven Raichlen. Toss a few of these red wine barrel chunks on your fire and get ready for an extraordinary flavor of oak smoke with red wine overtones. Place a handful onto your grill when cooking steak, chops, and seafood, or build your whole fire from wine barrel chunks for even more flavor. For smoking, soak the chunks in water for an hour before cooking. Any way you use them, the wine and smoke flavors are out of this world.

These wood chips work great. The flavor of the oak was in our opinion superior to the more popular and readily available hickory and mesquite that you find at the supermarket these woods are overpowering for our tastes. We did not taste any hints of wine and was not expecting to. But it did have a mellower flavor than other oak wood that we have had in the past. The best thing about this brand is that the chunks are very uniform in size and burn equally making the estimate of how much you need very predictable. meaning you start with 5 chunks. see how it comes out and adjust the next time. To smokey for you- use 3 not smokey enough-use 7 the uniform size makes the guesstimate quite accurate. The other thing I like is the packaging. Yes-the packaging. Most wood come in bags and makes the storage of them a bit clunky. The boxes make good use of space and can be stored in camping bins and bbq boxes much more efficiently. We store 3 different flavors of wood in the same box and only pack the 1 box. Anyone who grew up with the same tetris like mentality should relate. We also like the woodchips for pork. and our favorite are the chips for seafood and veggies! The seafood and veggies chips are 5 star!!!!!
